A war on Iran could dwarf even the Iraq war in its grim potential for devastating global conflict.

Here's how you can help prevent a war:

• Meet with the Editorial Board of your local paper. The media failed us in the lead up to the Iraq War -- don't let them fail us again!

• Invite a speaker to your next meeting (peace group, community group, school group -- everyone can learn more about Iran!)

• Include a call for no attack on Iran in any activities you are organizing to end the war in Iraq;

• Call and ask your congressional representative (800-788-9372) to co-sponsor H.R. 5056 to appoint an envoy to Iran for the purpose of easing tensions and normalizing relations with Iran.

• Watch and share this video, "The Folly of Attacking Iran," by UFPJ member group Just Foreign Policy;

• Download and distribute War Times' flyer, "Iran: Let's Start With Some Facts."

• Order our "Do Not Attack Iran" postcards and send them to your members of Congress. Bulk discounts are available so you can distribute them in your communities. You can also order our "Peace With Iran" and ­"Hands Off Iran" t-shirts.
