This site is a continuation of IntolerableBehaviour which can be found here: http://intolerablebehaviour.premium.ws/. The effort being made here is to protect our world from a more and religious/fascist tumour growing in the United States. The growth of this tumour has begun many, many years in the past but our field of reference will be from 1953 up to the present day wars begun by President G. W. Bush walking in the confusion of Bush Sr.'s lengthy terms of CIA Director, Vice President and President of the US. America is very proud of its gift, from the founding fathers, of free speech but this gift, this right, is profoundly curtail by President's who hold no regard for the truth closely followed by their administrations. Actually, in these cases it sure seems like 'the tail wagging the dog'. As America grew so did the media. We had thousands of small newspapers across the country avidly seeking the truth beyond the cold facts. It was the honourable thing to do; to get down to the nitty-gritty of each and every story. But now our media has changed with newspapers having been gobbled up big the super rich. Radio media tied to their desks repeating into the waste land that free speech was becoming. And then there's the Big Media of television with quick 'up-to-the-minute' reporting. Too bad that so often they are abusively spreading lies. A case in point here, During the illegal invasion of Panama by President Bush Sr. the press was kept well away from the actual murderous fray that had killed thousands of innocent Panamanians. Later, with the killing over the military took in hand picked, selected media personal and showed them what they should see. It was reported by this cyst of reporters that 82% of Panamanians were quite happy with the American Invasion. So, there you stand as a reporter with your heavily armed uniformed guide asking Panamanians how they felt about these heavily armed American troops and the answer you get is a bit of a love-in. I can tell you that if a reporter wants the truth from me me about the Yankee murderers you're not likely to get that truth with a soldier or two ostensibly protecting my hide. No, freedom of expression has become the freedom to lie to the people of this country and, lie they do, on a grand scale. When these selected reporters turned in their stories to their media outlets the next day's news was a very happy news of how our great military trounce any and all Panamanian resistance and everything came up smelling like roses; except,of course, in Panama where thousands of bodies, many crushed in the collapse of their apartment homes while other bodies were being put into mass graves. That was just not reportable news, nor was the grief and sorrow for the thousands more who had lost family and loved ones. So, then as now, Americans sit in their comfortable little palaces protected bt an agreeable curtain of lies - and loving it. RC
